Information Session for the “Semiconductor Smart Manufacturing Program” – 114 Academic Year, College of Management

The College of Management has collaborated with TSMC through an industry–academia cooperation program to jointly offer the Semiconductor Smart Manufacturing Program, which has entered its second year of collaboration in 2025 (Academic Year 114).
Taking advantage of the orientation event for new students on August 29 (Friday), the information session for the program was held in the afternoon. Accompanied by Professor Cheng-Chia Huang, co-principal investigator of the program, Ms. Yi-Shan Wang, Senior Manager at TSMC, introduced the Semiconductor Smart Manufacturing Program to approximately 50 first-year students from the Department of Information Management. The session took place from 12:50 to 13:20 in the activity classroom located in the basement of Dorm 1.
Immediately afterward, at 13:30, the team moved to Room MA010, located in the basement of the Management Building, to introduce the program to about 100 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students from the Department of Industrial Management. In addition to Professor Huang, Professor Chao-Lung Yang, Chair of the Department of Industrial Management, also participated in the session to explain the curriculum and course selection details. The session concluded successfully with a Q&A at 14:00.
