On the morning of June 9, 2026, Professor Mingming Leng, Dean of the Faculty of Business at Lingnan University, led a delegation of associate deans and international affairs administrators on a visit to the School of Management (SOM) at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). The delegation was warmly received by Professor Yu-Chung Tsao, Dean of SOM, together with associate deans and faculty members. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on future collaboration and the development of business education.
Dean Leng also serves as a member of SOM’s International Advisory Board and has long supported SOM’s development. His insights provided important inspiration for SOM’s future development and internationalization strategy.
Notably, Dean Leng was recently named the 2026 recipient of the “Dean of the Year Award” presented by Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS). He was selected from among deans representing more than 640 universities across 39 countries and regions and was the sole recipient of the award in 2026. This honor recognizes his outstanding leadership and significant contributions to business education.
During the meeting, the two institutions explored a wide range of future collaboration opportunities across undergraduate and graduate programs. Discussions covered student mobility, dual-degree programs, research collaboration, and other forms of international partnership. Through these initiatives, both sides aim to strengthen their connections in teaching and research while creating more opportunities for students and faculty members to participate in cross-border learning and academic exchange.
The visit further strengthened the partnership between SOM and the Faculty of Business at Lingnan University and laid a solid foundation for closer collaboration in teaching, research, and international engagement.
